While walking back to the train from work I found this slightly broken shelf on the street ready to be thrown out. I immediately picked it up to inspect how bad the damage was and it was in such good shape, I took it home with me to spruce it up. The small wicker shelf just needed some fun colored paint and it would be ready to be used! I sanded the broken end of the shelf so that it wouldn’t be sharp and then I proceeded to paint the entire shelf in purple paint. When it was done I hung it on my wall and stacked it up with wonderful goodies! It now deserves the title of junk to a gem!
